Climax Class C
The Climax Locomotive is a type of geared steam locomotive manufactured by the Climax Locomotive Company (Later renamed Climax Locomotive Works) from 1888 - 1928. Around 1,000 were built and around 25 survive today. They were built in 3 different classes. Those class being Class A, Which had the two cylinders vertically placed in the center, of which powered two trucks. The Class B, Which looks more like a traditional American Steam Locomotive with the cylinder mounted at an angle beside the boiler which also powered two trucks. And the Class C, which is the same as the Class B but with an extra powered truck that carried additional water at the back.
